Wittman Regional Airport
Oshkosh, WI (OSH)
  • Located along the western shore of Lake Winnebago, Oshkosh is recognized worldwide as the home of EAA AirVenture, the annual aviation gathering that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and thousands of aircraft from around the globe. Beyond its aviation fame, the city offers a vibrant waterfront, a strong manufacturing economy, and a growing business community that has helped make the Fox Valley one of Wisconsin's most dynamic regions.
  • Wittman Regional Airport sits at the heart of Oshkosh's aviation identity and serves as a year-round hub for general aviation, business aviation, and flight training activity. In 2025, the airport handled more than 87,000 tower operations, with activity heavily concentrated in general aviation operations that reflect the airport's unique role in the national aviation system. Midwest ATC has proudly operated the tower at OSH for more than 35 years, serving generations of pilots and aviation enthusiasts while supporting one of the most recognized airports in the country.
  • The airport's commitment to operational excellence has earned national recognition. OSH received the prestigious Willie F. Card Contract Tower Service Award and was named Midwest ATC Facility of the Year multiple times. Awarded the ATCA General E.R. Quesada Memorial Award, this underscores the facility's longstanding tradition of leadership and excellence in air traffic control.
Worcester Regional Airport
Worcester, MA (ORH)
  • Worcester is the second-largest city in New England and serves as a regional center for healthcare, biotechnology, manufacturing, and higher education. Conveniently located between Boston and western Massachusetts, the city blends a rich industrial heritage with a growing innovation economy that continues to attract new businesses and residents.
  • Worcester Regional Airport serves as an important transportation gateway for central Massachusetts, connecting travelers to commercial destinations while supporting business aviation and general aviation operations. In 2025, the airport welcomed more than 106,000 passenger enplanements and recorded nearly 32,000 tower operations, highlighting its importance as an alternative to larger and more congested airports in the region. Midwest ATC has operated the ORH tower since 2005, helping ensure safe and efficient operations while supporting the airport's continued growth and regional connectivity.

Gary/Chicago International Airport
Gary, IN (GYY)
  • Situated along the southern shore of Lake Michigan, Gary is part of one of the nation's most significant transportation and logistics corridors. With direct access to the Chicago metropolitan area and a network of rail, highway, maritime, and industrial infrastructure, the region continues to serve as a critical hub for commerce throughout the Midwest.
  • Gary/Chicago International Airport has developed into a strategic aviation gateway serving northwest Indiana and the greater Chicago region. As a designated reliever airport, GYY supports business aviation, cargo operations, charter traffic, and general aviation users seeking convenient access to one of the nation's largest economic centers. In 2025, the airport recorded nearly 30,000 tower operations, reflecting a diverse mix of air carrier, air taxi, military, and general aviation activity. Midwest ATC has proudly operated the tower at GYY for more than 35 years, supporting the airport's growth and evolution into one of the region's most important aviation assets.
  • The airport's commitment to excellence has been recognized at both the facility and individual levels. An ATCA President's Citation of Merit Award winner, Gary tower personnel have earned multiple Midwest ATC Controller and Manager of the Year honors over the years. These accomplishments reflect a culture of professionalism and service that continues to define operations at GYY today.
Cincinnati Municipal Airport - Lunken Field
Cincinnati, OH (LUK)
  • Located just minutes from downtown Cincinnati along the Ohio River, Lunken Field occupies a unique place in both aviation and local history. The surrounding metropolitan area is home to major corporate headquarters, world-class healthcare systems, advanced manufacturing, and a diverse business community that spans Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
  • Originally opened in 1925, Cincinnati Municipal Airport, commonly known as Lunken Field, is one of the nation's most historic and respected general aviation airports. Today, it serves as a premier destination for corporate aviation, charter operators, flight training organizations, and recreational pilots. In 2025, the airport recorded more than 114,000 tower operations, making it one of the busiest facilities in Midwest ATC's contract tower portfolio. Midwest ATC has operated the airport's tower for more than 35 years, supporting its continued role as a gateway for business aviation throughout the Cincinnati region.
  • Lunken's legacy extends beyond traffic volume. The facility was named Midwest ATC Facility of the Year multiple times and received the nationally recognized Willie F. Card Contract Tower Service Award. Individual controllers and managers from LUK have also earned numerous Midwest ATC and ATCA honors, including multiple Controller of the Year awards and an ATCA Chairman's Citation of Merit Award. These achievements reflect a culture of excellence that has helped make Lunken one of the most decorated facilities in Midwest ATC's history.
